Founded in Munich, Germany in 1963 and established branches in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 1996 and 1998 respectively. Now it has developed into one of the leading integrated facilities management services companies in China and Hong Kong. The total sales in 2019 exceeded EUR 73 Mio, and the total number of employees exceeded 5,000.

Origin

"The beginning is always an idea." Mr. Peter Dussmann started to place an advertisement in the magazines, and then founded Dussmann Service to provide cleaning services to the customers in Munich, Germany in 1963. The idea was a complete success, and that’s where the story began….


The facility management service of Dussmann was born in 1976. By virtue of its keen business sense, Mr. Dussmann discovered the potential demand for “One Package” services emerging in the market, and then integrated facility management came into being, and began to practice the concept of integrated facility management in Dusservice and its branches globally.


The company has been expanding its footprint in Asia Pacific since it moved its new headquarters to Berlin in the 1990s. In 1996 and 1998 respectively, the company set up branches in Hong Kong and Shanghai, with a total turnover of 73 Mio EUR in 2019 and employs almost 5000 people in region.


Evolution

2017 is a vital year for Dussmann Service. Based on the analysis of the changes in the global economic environment and the examination of the future trend of the integrated facility management market, Dussmann Service began its evolution and transformation.
